The Horse and the Lantern
Once there was a horse that lived in a small, peaceful village. One day, the horse discovered a lantern in the nearby forest. The lantern was old and dusty, but the horse noticed that it still gave off a faint glow when lit.
Excited by his find, the horse decided to take the lantern back to the village. The other animals were intrigued by the lantern and gathered around to see it. The horse proudly showed off the lantern and explained how he had found it in the forest.
As night fell, the village was plunged into darkness. The horse quickly lit the lantern and held it up high, illuminating the surrounding area. The other animals were amazed at how the lantern could drive away the darkness and provide comfort and warmth.
From that day on, the horse became known as the keeper of the lantern. He would light it every night, and the animals would gather around to bask in its soft, warm light. The lantern brought a sense of peace and security to the village, and the horse was happy to have been the one to discover it.
